1. Information We Collect
WallPapers Go itself does not collect personally identifiable information and does not require account registration. However, the app integrates third-party SDKs for advertising and attribution that may collect the following data:
- Advertising identifier (IDFA) — only if you grant permission via Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt
- Vendor identifier (IDFV) — a non-personal device identifier assigned per app developer
- IP address and approximate location derived from it
- Device information (model, OS version, screen size, language)
- App install source and in-app events (e.g. app open, ad impressions)
- Interest and behavioral signals used for ad relevance
2. App Tracking Transparency (ATT)
On iOS 14.5 and later, we request your permission to track your activity across other companies' apps and websites via Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework. If you allow tracking, your IDFA may be shared with our advertising and attribution partners to deliver more relevant ads and to measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns. If you deny permission, only non-personal identifiers will be used. You can change this setting at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
3. Third-Party SDKs — Advertising & Attribution
AppsFlyer (Attribution & Analytics)
We use AppsFlyer to understand which marketing campaigns brought users to our app and to measure app performance. AppsFlyer may collect device identifiers, IP address, and app event data. Data collected is subject to the AppsFlyer Privacy Policy. You may opt out at appsflyer.com/optout.
InMobi (Mobile Advertising)
We use InMobi to display advertisements within the app. InMobi may collect device identifiers, advertising IDs, IP address, and interest/behavioral data to serve relevant ads and measure ad performance. Data collected is subject to the InMobi Privacy Policy. You may opt out of personalized ads at inmobi.com/page/opt-out.
4. Local Storage
Your favorites list and app preferences are stored locally on your device using iOS UserDefaults and are never transmitted to any server operated by us. All locally stored data is removed when you uninstall the app.
5. Network Access & Third-Party Image Service
Wallpaper images are loaded from Lorem Picsum (picsum.photos), a third-party image service. When your device fetches an image, your IP address may be logged by that service in accordance with their own privacy practices. We do not control or are not responsible for any data processing performed by third-party services.
6. Photo Library Access
When you tap "Save to Photos", the app requests add-only photo library permission (NSPhotoLibraryAddUsageDescription). We only write the wallpaper image you explicitly choose to save. We never read, access, or upload any existing photos or media from your library.
7. URL Scheme & Deep Links
The app registers the custom URL scheme comqlwallpaperios://. Deep links are processed entirely on-device to navigate within the app. No link data is transmitted to our servers.
8. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. Data collected by AppsFlyer and InMobi is shared with those third-party partners solely for attribution and advertising purposes as described in their respective privacy policies. We do not share your data with any other third parties except as required by law.
9. Data Retention
We do not store personal data on our own servers. Retention periods for data collected by AppsFlyer and InMobi are governed by their respective privacy policies. Locally stored preferences are retained on-device until you uninstall the app.
10. Your Rights & Choices
- Opt out of tracking: Deny the ATT prompt or go to Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
- Limit ad tracking: Enable "Limit Ad Tracking" in your device settings.
- AppsFlyer opt-out: appsflyer.com/optout
- InMobi opt-out: inmobi.com/page/opt-out
- Delete local data: Uninstall the app.
11. Data Security
All locally stored data is protected by iOS system-level security (sandboxing, data protection). Because we transmit no personal user data to servers we operate, there is no risk of a data breach originating from our own infrastructure.
12. Children's Privacy
WallPapers Go is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information via our app, please contact us and we will take steps to address it promptly.
13. Changes to This Policy
If we update this Privacy Policy, the revised version will be published on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the app after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
